User's Manual for ProgDVB

First you need to select the type of your card during the installation..


Besides that, if your card works via BDA drivers, or if you have more than one DVB-card, you have to select them in the program window after the installation in MainMenu->Settings->Device list


After that, you must add the switch and/or positioner into the diseq tree (MainMenu->Settings->Diseq) and select your converter type (in LNB properties). In the same place, you also need to assign to each converter the satellite (or several satellites) that will be received.


Then all satellites must be scanned in MainMenu->Channel list->Search channels->...


That's all. After that you'll see the channels list, being able to watch them. Usually, the free channels will be marked with green colour, encrypted channels - with the red one.


Some dialogues that will be useful to set up.
MainMenu->Settings->Options->DirectShow
Selection of DirectShow codecs, that you want to use. You'll find there the render selection as well as some other useful settings.



MainMenu->Settings->Options->Record
Recording settings. Define the folder name for recordings placement and recording format.


MainMenu->Channel list->Propertes
Channel list settings. ProgDVB list may be of two types. Dynamic list - the one you select the channel filter for. How to group and sort them. Dynamic list can̉t be edited (it will be restored after rescan). For that you have "favorites", you can copy there the channels you need, placing them as you wish. But unlike the dynamic list, "favorites" don't refresh after rescan.
